Root Canals- the removal of the nerve, blood vessels, and tissue that is inside the tooth. After these structures are removed, the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. A root canal treated tooth usually requires that a crown be placed over the tooth to reduce the risk of tooth fracture.
